| Shelby was just a little guy of 1 1/2 when Eric and I got back together. He was such a daddy's boy it was rediculous. The first time I met him, he gave me several kisses but he'd never let me pick him up. My dad, on the other hand, got instant affection from Shelby. It was pretty cute! |

| It didn't take long at all for Shelby and I to form a bond. After all, we both shared an interest in guitar playing. :) Shelby was our ring bearer in our wedding. I was so proud at how well behaved he was during the ceremony! |

| It was always apparent that Shelby had a taste for extreme sports! He was a natural when he put on the first pair of roller blades I bought him. |
| As we've come through the years, Shelby and I have formed a unique bond. It's funny for those who know us well, I am probably closer to Shelby than anyone else. There's so much to say about Shelby. He's an extremely bright young man. He consistantly remains on the Honor Roll. He is a talented artist and continues also to excel at his guitar studies. I'm so proud of him and his focus on his future. His plan, to date, is to attend West Point after graduation. He's researched the statistics and knows the odds of getting in. Yet, he keeps his eye on the ball and the goal at hand. I can't wait to see what he does with his life! The possiblities are endless! |
| Shelby's had a fascination with airplanes since my dad went up in a fighter jet several years ago. It seemed to have a profound impact on him. It won't surprise me at all if he winds up being an aeronautical engineer. |
